You may believe that installing air conditioners in several
rooms will require a lot of space for multiple outdoor units.
With the multi-split configuration, a single powerful outdoor
unit can drive from 2 to 5 indoor units, which solves any
problem of limited installation space.
With Multi outdoor units, it is possible to connect up to
5 indoor units of different capacities to a single outdoor
unit, thereby reducing installation space and costs. Daikin
offers you besides non-inverter outdoor units, a wide range
of inverter units. It is also possible to combine different
types of indoor units (e.g. wall mounted, floor standing).
All indoor units remain individually controllable and do
not need to be installed at the same time. Further units can
always be added at a later stage. Moreover, the energy consumption
of a Daikin Multi system can be up to 20 % lower than that
of a separate indoor/outdoor unit application. Multi outdoor
units are equipped with a rotary or a scroll compressor, renowned
for its low noise and high energy efficiency.
